The President also believes the preparation of Silangit Airport to become an international airport has been completed.

The government, according to the President, is also open to cooperate with SOEs as well as private parties to accelerate the repair of the Silangit Airport.

He also allows people to apply for a new name for Silangit Airport, Sisingamangajara Airport.

The President plans to inaugurate Silangit International Airport on October 28, 2017.
