INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), has started drilling a new Tapen B2 well in the Tapen hamlet, Senori sub-district, Tuban, East Java.
"The Tapen B2 well has considerable potential for oil and gas and to obtain results as expected, it needs synergy and support from all stakeholders," said Cepu Field Manager of PT Pertamina EP Asset 4 Heru Irianto in Jakarta, Sunday (15/10/2017)
The target of this drilling is oil production of 250 barrels per day (BPH) and gas of approximately 0.5 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).
"If the target is successful, it will certainly have a positive impact for the surrounding community and additional PAD (local revenue) for Tuban Regency," Heru explained.
Yuwarifay Fauzy from Drilling Department PT Pertamina EP in charge of drilling operation of Tapen Wells B2 said the drilling of the oil wells takes about 35 days with a target depth of 2042 meters.
"We expect support from all parties to make this drilling process run smoothly and without any significant barriers and of course 'zero accident'," said Fauzy.
Camat Senori Sugeng Purnomo appreciated the drilling activities of Tapen B2 wells which in the field activities still pay attention to the community and surrounding environment.
"We give Pertamina appreciation in preparation for this Tapen B2 drilling, and we urge the residents around the drilling area to support the smooth operation by observing the safety rules in the company," he said.
