MUI: It is estimated that NU-Muhammadiyah Celebrate Eid together

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) estimates Idul Fitri Day 1439 H or Lebaran will fall on Friday, June 15, 2018. Both Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) will both celebrate on the same day.

"Insha'Allah Friday is a feast, inshaAllah will not be different, in general it reduces tension, because there are two frictions, though asked legowo, but with similarity, the condition of Muslims will be better," said MUI Chairman Ma'ruf Amin in MUI Office Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/6/2018).

Therefore, to anticipate some things that are not desired Ma'ruf appealed, to the police in order to provide security for Muslims to be able to run the Eid al-Fitr with the good.

"To the government, especially the police in order to ensure the safety and comfort of Muslims in celebrating the Eid al-Fitr 1439 H both on the way to go and go home, takbiran night and on the daat of Eid prayer," he said.

According Ma'ruf, the momentum of the feast day should be a place to re-strengthen the brotherhood between people. Especially he said from the side of obedience in carrying out God's command must be increasing. In addition, He also invites Muslims to raise awareness to the poor and needy.

"After undergoing worship during Ramadan increased his obedience to the teachings of Islam and increased his concern especially to the poor, the poor and the orphans, by issuing zakat, infaq, alms and waqf," he explained.

"MUI appealed that in the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms done properly and properly and need to be coordinated with the relevant apparatus, cannot cause undesirable negative," concluded Ma'ruf
