Pelni Does LPG Shipping to Natuna

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pelni (Persero) is shipping its first LPG to Natuna, Riau Islands, which arrived on Friday (13/10/2017).
The vessel leaned on the Straits of Lampa Strait, Natuna, and began dismantling goods on Saturday (14/10/2017) morning, including a 12 kg LPG cargo belonging to Pertamina of 600 tubes. During this time, people buy LPG from nearby countries.
Prime shipment is using KM expressway lait. Caraka Jaya Niaga (CJN) III / 4 departed from the Port of Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Tuesday (10/10/2017).
PR and CSR Manager Akhmad Sujadi said that the first shipment of LPG transportation to meet the gas needs in Riau Island province especially for Anambas and Natuna Islands.
"LPG transportation is packed with shelves to protect the LPG cylinder to keep it from moving, so it is safe and easy to load unloading The manufacture of rack design has been tested technically and certified by Sucofindo," said Sujadi in Official information, Sunday (15/10/2017).
Before transporting LPG, Pelni filed a letter of application for the certification of LPG shelf and has been recommended by the Ministry of Transportation, the shelf is safe to carry elpiji.
As a state shipping company trusted by the government to operate sea toll boats, livestock ships and pioneer ships, Pelni wants to continue to increase its competence and carry out government missions so that more people will benefit, especially people living on remote and outlying islands.
The sea toll boats are a fleet operated by Pelni as part of a sea toll program that is part of President Joko Widodo's Nawacita program. The program aims to increase development, reduce price disparities and increase economic growth outside Java.
"The islands of Natuna and Anambas Islands are the two outermost areas that are growing, Pelni plays an active role with the sea toll," he explained. (Imq)
