Three Years Jokowi-JK Government, Realization of Investment Up 46 Percent

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Head of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Thomas Lembong said the realization of investment throughout the year 2014-2017 has increased.

Realization of investment in 2015 amounting to Rp545 trillion increased compared to 2014 Rp463 trillion.

The increase in realization of investment also occurred in 2016 amounting to Rp613 trillion and in 2017 is targeted to reach Rp678, 8 trillion with the realization per semester I-2017 reached Rp336, 7 trillion, up 12.9 percent over the same period last year.

"In the field of investment in Jokowi-JK's three-year investment, investments rose 46 percent from a year earlier to Ro678 trillion," said Thomas in Jakarta (17/10/2017).

He added that the realization of these investments has led to millions of jobs. "Of course, more importantly than investment is employment, investment in us BKPM, whose name is PMA and domestic in the last three years creates 3.4 million jobs," he added.

According to him, employment is spread in various regions. The number of jobs in Java reached 2.12 million jobs. The remaining 1.24 million are outside Java. "Gratitude is more than one-third of the work field is outside Java," said Tom (familiar greeting Thomas Lembong).
