Peluncuran Sistem Layanan Perizinan Terintegrasi Online Single Submission (OSS)
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) will routinely hold an integrated single licensing system (OSS) every day starting next week.
"So starting next week, we will allocate time for OSS charging simulations every day starting at 09.00-12.00 at the BKPM office," said Deputy of Investment Control and Implementation Azhar Lubis in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (08/15/2018)
The announcement was made by Azhar when the agency socialized the OSS system to 325 Japanese investors on Tuesday (14/8), after previously conducting socialization to South Korean investors some time ago.
According to Azhar, his party encourages Japanese companies not to hesitate using the OSS facility held in order to simplify investment licensing procedures in Indonesia.
Some Japanese companies present at the system's socialization included YKK, Yusen, Isuzu, Hino, Sumitomo and Japanese company associations such as Jakarta-Japan Club (JJC) and JETRO.
Jakarta President Director Ofice JETRO Indonesia Suzuki Kenshi hopes that the implementation of the OSS can be a momentum to strengthen relations between the two countries and increase investment from Japan to Indonesia.
BKPM Deputy for Investment Promotion, Andi Maulana, told Antara that the OSS was proof of the government's commitment to reduce investment barriers in Indonesia and increase the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) ranking in the coming year.
"OSS makes the licensing procedure transparent and measurable in time with simplification in 17 sectors," he said.
