INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) will conduct a population survey in 2020. It is estimated that the funding needs reach Rp3 trillion.
Head of BPS Suhariyanto said the budget is uncertain about Rp3 trillion because it is still calculated. The largest composition of expenditures is channeled to the enumerators in the field.
"We hold a 10th annual population census seminar, the last population census in 2010, using 43 variables," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday (14/11/2017).
He mentioned the variable will be developed, but the existing 43 new variables. The aim is to survey the population to find out how far the population, labor, unemployment rate even know the number of elderly population.
"One can know the spread of people from different languages, tribes, cultures and religions, and then work with demographers for projected population distribution until 2035, even for this project to be widened until 2045," he said.
According to the plan, the required enumerator is estimated at 100 thousand people. They will be selected to do the survey. Their energy comes from society.
"The largest cost is enumerated, with 100,000 workers and certain qualifications, they will survey the age, name, NIK and employment status," he said.
