Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) previously mentioned Mount Agung erupted by spraying gray ash at an altitude of 700 meters above the peak at around 17:05 pm.

PVMBG has mapped the Estimated Danger Zone within the crater area of ​​the mountain and in all areas within a six kilometer radius of the peak crater and added sectoral expansion to the north-northeast and southeast-south-southwest by 7.5 kilometers.

For that PVMBG asked residents to not move in the zone to anticipate the development of the volcano.
