Vice President JK Encourages Supreme National Congress (Munaslub) Golkar Late December

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla urges that the Golkar General Assembly (Munaslub) can be held no later than December 2017 to immediately elect a successor to the Chairman of Setya Novanto who is a suspect in the KTP-El corruption case.

"You can say that there must be a munaslub, that's the agreement, I think in December there should be a change, in accordance with what the plenary approves if the pretrial is lost, or it is not likely to be difficult," said JK at the Vice President's Office in Jakarta, Tuesday (27/11/2017)

The pre-trial referred to by JK is the legal route that Setya Novanto proposes to the court to review the legal process conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) which makes him a suspect in the KTP-El corruption case.

According to the vice president who is also a senior politician of Golkar, whatever the pretrial results that the first trial will be held on 30 November 2017, the name Setya Novanto and Golkar has tarnished corruption case so it needs to be cleaned up.
