INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Center for Research and Industrial Standardization of Palembang (Barist and Industry Palembang / BIPA) as one of the Technical Service Units under the Industrial Research and Development Agency (BPPI) of the Ministry of Industry focuses on the development of rubber and processed rubber production technology.

From 37 years of establishment, services available at BIPA include product certification services, quality management system certification, testing and supervision services (various commodity, pollution, microbiology, and calibration laboratories), engineering or engineering services for industrial machinery and equipment, and services training. "The certification bodies and the BIPA Laboratories have all been accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN)," Quri said.

In fact, BIPA has also entered into cooperation contracts with several companies, other R & D institutions, universities, and other regional governments. This synergy step is also in the framework of growth and development of small and medium industries (IKM) based on natural rubber and coffee and the implementation of R & D activities in the field of production process technology.
