Deddy explained that the broad recommendation of land issued by the Government of West Java is in accordance with the regulations on housing permits. He added that the land is a land that is intended to be built housing.
"So it can not be added to the number 500 hectares, I do not know next to where the remnants of the vast land," he said.
According to Deddy, he feels worried if the Meikarta project area exceeds 84.6 hectares. That, he said, will have an impact on the environment. "It could have an impact on the quality and quantity of clean water supply," he said.
Previously, in Bandung, Deddy said the recommendation was based on Local Regulation No. 20/2010 on Spatial and Regional Planning (RTRW) of West Java Province.
Meikarta is in an area that belongs to the category of provincial strategic areas in Bogor-Depok-Bekasi-Karawang-Cianjur-Purwakarta. He is in the strategic area of the province. Like KBU (North Bandung area) there should be a recommendation, not a permit, he said.
