INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo said the Golkar Party should continue to improve its professionalism ahead of the political year in 2018.

"Many suggest that Golkar needs to return to identity, to the identity of the working party, the working party," the President said in his opening remarks at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Monday night (18/12 / 2017)

According to the President, the party bearing the banyan tree and the cotton-paddy must remain compact amidst the large group of politicians inside the party.

Head of State added that the internal cohesion of Golkar Party must be maintained so as not to disturb the political situation in the country in the political year 2018.

Jokowi also expressed his appreciation to the Golkar Party cadres who always support government programs and keep Pancasila and care for Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

The President said there was work to build Indonesia's economy and infrastructure from the periphery and needed Golkar Party cadres who already understood the development process and policy politics to achieve a work.

"Therefore once again Golkar must be solid, Golkar must be as intact as a banyan tree with one trunk and very strong, Golkar must be bigger and become an important part of political development in Indonesia," said President.
