Three Percent Electrical Program Has Been Operated

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Committee for the Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Provision (KPPIP) recorded the achievement of the 35 thousand MegaWatt (MW) electricity program until December 2017 of 998 MW or 3 percent already in operation.

"For electricity program, 998 MW is operational and can be used by PLN for community needs," said KPKIP Executive Team Leader Wahyu Utomo at a media crew gathering in Jakarta yesterday.

The KPPIP also recorded 15,676 MW or 44 percent of the total electricity program under construction, 13,782 MW (38 percent) received a "power purchase agreement" (PPA) but not yet "financial close".

While 3,163 MW (9 percent) is still in the procurement stage, and 2,228 MW (6 percent) in the planning phase.

In addition, Wahyu also explained that the government has completed six national strategic projects (PSN) in 2017, so cumulatively as of December 19, 2017 there are 26 PSNs that have been completed considering the 20 PSN has been completed in 2016.

The six projects are Tanjung Priok access road, Soreang-Pasirkoja toll road, Surabaya-Mojokerto toll road, Nanga Badau Kapuas Hulu state boundary post, PLBN Aruk Sambas District, and PLBN Wini Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara.

The value of the six PSN projects completed in 2017 reached Rp13.1 trillion, while the estimated total investment value of 26 PSN that has been completed amounted to Rp 46,5 trillion.

"So the total investment value reached Rp73 trillion," Wahyu said.

PSN is a selected project that has a strategic role in the economy, social welfare, defense and national sovereignty that can obtain facilities as regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 3 of 2016 j.o. Perpres 58/2017.

The latest list notes that there are 245 PSNs and two programs (electricity and aircraft industry programs) and with a total investment value of Rp 4.417 trillion.

All PSNs are divided into 15 sectors, of which the three sectors with the most number of projects are the road sector with 74 projects and dams (54 projects).
