Ilustrasi BBM Pertamina (ist) - Jakarta - Coming to close in 2017, President Joko Widodo inaugurated 17 oil fuel distribution agencies (BBM) at one price simultaneously centered in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Ignatius Jonan, said the fuel price program could be used as a trigger to keep looking for ways to increase energy prices for the society and the cost of providing more economical energy.

In a government record of 57 locations built by PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk operating this year, the total monthly fuel distribution reaches about 4,000 KL per month or 133 KL per day.

"The realization of this dealer who has been operating for Premium is about 11,000 KL and Solar about 6,000 KL per year," said Minister Jonan, Friday (29/12/2017).

President Joko Widodo emphasized the importance of implementing BBM one price for the community, especially in 3T (leading, outer, and behind) areas.

During this time people have to spend more to get fuel around Rp 7,000 to Rp 100 thousand for one liter of fuel, can now buy at Rp 6.450 per liter for Premium and Rp 5.150 for Solar.

"Our country is a very large country with a very large distribution of islands with different infrastructure conditions. Therefore, previously it was in remote places the price (BBM) 10 times, (even) 15 times the price that existed on the island of Java. This is what we pursue," said the President when inaugurated one of the new channeling institutions.

The President acknowledges that additional costs are required to implement BBM at one price, but it should still be implemented. Fuel subsidies used to be done then the cost for fuel one price should be prepared.

"What is the additional cost to be incurred? Previously mentioned by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources approximately Rp 800 billion. If the first fuel subsidy of approximately Rp 300 trillion is given, this cook no more than a trillion is not given. That's why I decide why BBM One Price is present," said Jokowi. (De)
