Earthquake 5.0 SR Shakes Kaur Bengkulu

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandarlampung - Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said there has been a magnitude-tectonic earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale on Monday (1/1/2017, 13:22:42 WIB, in Kaur, Bengkulu.
According to BMKG, the magnitude 5.0 quake was centered at a depth of 10 km, located at coordinates 6.46 degrees south latitude and 101.70 degrees east longitude.
The quake was 276 km southwest of Kaur, Bengkulu.
BMKG confirmed this earthquake does not have the potential to cause a tsunami threat. (Ant)
