130 Million Registered Prepaid Cards Until the End of 2017

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Mobile prepaid card registration, both new registration and re-registration integrated with NIK until the end of 2017 has penetrated 130 million subscriber numbers.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, on Sunday (31/12/2017), the Ministry of Communications and Informatics began to enact the registration of cellular card number using NIK (Family Identification Number) and Family Card Number (KK) on October 31, 2016.
The purpose of the Registration is to provide protection to telecommunication service customers. Registration procedure contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 21 of 2017 on the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information No. 12 of 2016 on Telecommunication Services Customer Registration.
Various channels of socialization to the community have been conducted intensively through television media, both broadcast and running text, SMS from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics to cellular phone number holders through mobile operators, social media with collaboration with ministries of communications, related institutions, operators and stakeholders and the wider community.
