Golkar Party Still Goes Along with the Legal Situation of Setya Novanto

INDUSTRY.co.id - Makassar - Secretary General of the Golkar Party Central Executive Board Idrus Marham confirmed that the banyan party machine at the national level until the region is still running, and not disturbed by the legal situation that twisted Setya Novanto.

He said, unlike the discordant voices that developed outside, the Golkar Party's organizational condition went on as usual.

Several steps have been taken after the plenary session of July 18, namely by consolidating both at the central and regional levels.

"Operationally, Golkar Party is still running well because it has been established by Mr. Nurdin and I who run it and do not need to be munaslub," he said.

According to Idrus, all policies will still be taken by deliberation, including on the provision of a stretching recommendation to prospective candidates for regional heads.

"There is no problem because we are the ones who run it, we have consolidated the program, the consolation of the organization and the cadres all understand it including with the party targets," he explained.

He said the formation of opinion outside after the determination of the suspect by the general chairman was indeed a little affect, but with the routine done consolidation actually further strengthens the party structure.

"Our target is to be the winner in the 2019 election by bringing back Mr. Joko Widodo as a candidate for presidential candidate along with our coalition," he said.
