The Ship Sinking Program Needs No Doubt Anymore Benefits

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti confirmed that the sinking of foreign fishing boats in Indonesian waters has been widely discussed, so no doubt by various parties.

"I have always explained a lot from the beginning to the end," said Minister Susi in Jakarta on Thursday (11/1/2018)

Minister Susi also reminded that President Joko Widodo has also explained about the act of drowning the fishing boat that was captured by the apparatus.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in a number of his social media accounts on Tuesday (9/1) also states that the sinking of fishing thief ship is in accordance with the Fisheries Act No. 45/2009.

Previously, President Joko Widodo in Jakarta, Wednesday (10/1/2017) argued that the policy of sinking foreign ships that conduct illegal fishing in Indonesian waters is a law enforcement effort.

"We are not kidding with 'illegal fishing', against the theft of fish do not play main, therefore the most sinister is drowned," said President, asserted.

President Jokowi confirmed that it was done to provide a deterrent effect for law offenders in the field of capture fisheries. (Ant)
