INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) received Lifetime Achievement Award from the Management Institute of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia (LM FEB UI). The prestigious award was given at the 55th Anniversary of LM FEB UI, in Jakarta, Wednesday (17/1/2018).

The award, presented directly by Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, is given for Jonan's dedication and contribution to management in Indonesia, especially change management or change management.

"Mr. Jonan is a man who deserves this award, he started from a professional in finance, then became President Director of PT KAI (Kereta Api Indonesia) and was able to establish PT KAI into a company that is advanced and admired by many people, then Minister of Transportation and now Minister of ESDM," said Kalla.

The appreciation for the work of the nation is very important for Minister Jonan and the recipients of other awards namely Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Tanri Abeng and UI Professor Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti.

After receiving the award, Jonan said that being an important leader is an example.

"The point is if I, if we lead if we have nothing, knowledge does not have, technical ability does not have, all do not have, one that should not have, leadership is by example, so love the example, that's it," he said.

"Because in fact the lead is 3. I know the science, one is told, the students are angry, the three are praised, if they study management and so on, to become administrator, if they want to be the leader, so the commander, the science is only 3. Finish," said Jonan.

Jonan also congratulated LM FEB UI. "Happy Birthday to LM FEB UI 55. Must always benefit the nation and continue to create the best work for the country," he said.
