Coming to Jabar 1, Emil Leaves the Official House

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandung - Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, left his official house in Pendopo along with participation in the contesting of Governer (Pilgub) of West Java 2018.

"February 12 is on leave so we are no longer in the position of state officials, everything related to the official is abandoned," said Ridwan Kamil to media crew at Pendopo, Bandung on Saturday (20/1/2018)

On that occasion, the man who is familiarly called Emil symbolically handed the key of the official house to the City Secretary of Bandung, Yossi Irianto.

Upon leaving Pendopo, Emil accompanied by his wife, children, and mother just carrying a suitcase containing clothes and personal equipment. The goods purchased with state money were left in Pendopo.

"We are surrendering state assets, I as state officials want to give examples that according to the rules we submit state facilities related to positions," he said.

Before he was officially on leave as mayor, Emil would still complete his duties at Pendopo, but would not be a place to stay. He asked the house of the service remains a people's house that can be accessed by anyone.

"The pavilion should be a people's house, it should be a house for anyone, there is a puppet seminar, lecture, open for tourists, no problem, private space that cannot be used, and I will be back for service but not stay."

For a while Ridwan Kamil will contract two houses around the area Cipaganti, Bandung. One house is used as a residence, while one other house is used for the winning team.
