INDUSTRY.co.id - Batam - PT Hong Sheng Plastic Industry with Foreign Investment status (PMA) became the first investor to get easiness of 3 Hour Direct Investment Permit (i23j) program in Batam in early January 2018.

With the ease of obtaining investment licenses less than 3 hours, PT Hong Sheng Plastic Industry will invest US $ 3.750.000 or equivalent about Rp 50 billion.

Mr. Zheng Bo as Director of Hong Sheng Plastic Industry through his translator explained that his company plans to produce 50,000 tons of plastic ore per year.

"Production of 50,000 tons per year for the initial plan or about USD 4 million by taking raw materials from Indonesia," said Zheng Bo after receiving i23j in Batam Public Service Mall recently.

In addition, Zheng Bo also explained that the company will recruit about 160 Indonesian Workers and about 40 Foreign Workers from China at an early stage of operations.

"Companies will use more labor migrants because of course that if brought from China will be less familiar, if the workers will be more familiar with the area here and the language. In the future if the activities are smooth will reduce the TKA and increase the TKI, "he told the media crew in Batam.

Later, the company can immediately start operating in 2018 at Puri Industrial Park Complex in Batam City.

"It's already available buildings, I think already faster because it does not need to build again. From the side of the warehouse is already available place, basic permit already exists, so maybe Monday can already enter the machine because the identification number of import and customs parent number can be, "explained Kasubdit Capital Services BP Batam, Ady Soegiharto.

Ady explained that by starting the production of plastic ore by PT Hong Sheng Plastic Industry it will be able to reduce plastic waste in Indonesia because the raw material is targeted to take from local material.
