359.967 Mass Organization Monitored Activities by Government

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo conveyed the number of mass organizations (mass organizations) as of January 2018 reached 359,967 recorded in a number of government agencies.
"There are more than 359 thousand mass organizations," he said during the presentation at the meeting of the TNI-Police leadership 2018 at TNI Headquarters Cilangkap, Jakarta, Tuesday (23/1/2018)
In the presentation of 359 thousand more such organizations, recorded in Ministry of Foreign Affairs as many as 526 mass organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs 82 mass organizations, Provincial Government 7,671, District Government 17,183 mass organizations and Ministry of Law and Human Rights 334,505 mass organizations.
With so many mass organizations, Home Affairs Minister hopes that the apparatus will not be avoided by mass organizations wanting to change Pancasila as the state base.
He said the state does not prohibit mass organizations either religious or other organizations, even protecting the freedom of expression.
However, it will take firm action for organizations wishing to change the state ideology, Pancasila.
