The Chandra Asri Second Petrochemical Complex Will Start Working End of the Year

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk is currently preparing to build a second petrochemical complex this year. Currently, these activities are just entering the feasibility study phase.
"We have prepared the land and master plan, now it is in front and enginering," said VP Corporate Relation of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. Suhat Miyarso to INDUSTRY.co.id at Kadin Head Office, Jakarta, Thursday (25/1/2018).
He added that the construction project of this second petrochemical complex is predicted to take approximately 36 months.
"Planning is more or less takes one year, while for the construction of approximately 36 months," he explained.
Furthermore, he said, to build this second petrochemical complex the company has prepared an investment of US $ 1.9 billion for the first phase.
"However, if the downstream we have made will take a total investment of US $ 5 billion," said Suhat.
He hopes the construction project of this second petrochemical complex will begin in late 2017 or early 2018. "The end of the year or the beginning of the year, I expect to start the project," Suhat concluded.
