Timeless Indonesia Bali Festival Increases Foreign Tourist Visits

INDUSTRY.co.id - Denpasar - A total of seven sultanates and empires in the country are ready to enliven the event "Timeless Indonesia Festival (TIF)" which will be held on 19-25 August 2017 at K-Land Beach, Kelan Village, Badung regency.
"Through the Timeless Indonesia Festival, we hope to help increase the number of tourist visits to all tourist destinations in the archipelago," said Chairman Konderatu Foundation, Herlinda Siahaan, in Denpasar, Friday (28/07/2017)
Herlinda argued, TIF is a cultural arts festival and exhibition of the glory of the kingdom / Nusantara empire with the aim of supporting the improvement of the tourism sector.
The seven sultanates and empires that will enliven the TIF 2017 are the Kingdom of Sumedang Larang, the Kingdom of Buleleng, the Kingdom of Klungkung, the Deli Sultanate, the Unity of Luwu, the Minangkabau Kingdom, and the Sultanate of Cirebon. They will enliven the TIF with a series of traditional dance performances, cultural attractions, and fashion shows.
"Konderatu Foundation as the organizers want to repeat the success of TIF implementation in 2014. This event serves as a forum for tourism promotion for regions throughout Indonesia.Art cultural art and historical exhibition is a very big attraction and important for the development of tourism," said Herlinda as quoted From Between.
While the theme taken in TIF 2017 is "Bhineka Tunggal Ika". This is according to her, based on a high spirit of nationalism to further unite the Indonesian nation amid challenges both from within and outside the country.
In addition to performances from seven sultanates and empires, TIF also enlivened with cultural exhibition titled "Gallery Gerbang Nusantara". Later in it there are exhibits of historic objects, SME exhibitions from each provincial Dekranasda, natural tourism exhibitions, craft workshops, culinary Archipelago and art and cultural talk shows.
The exhibition at Galeri Gerbang Nusantara prioritizes the tourism destination exhibition of each province. It plans on TIF III to be held in March 2018 can already be followed by 34 Provinces in Indonesia.
"From next year onwards is planned to invite six kingdoms / sultanate of Nusantara and one kingdom from other country like Sultanate of Brunei or another .. For this year TIF at the same time celebrate HUT and declare nation unity," said Herlinda.
It expects TIF in addition to being a means of promoting the work of art, culture and tourism objects, as well as to arouse public and government awareness on the importance of preserving the richness of cultural arts and heritage of the Indonesian nation.
