INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT. Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (KEB Hana Bank) cooperates with Dompet Dhuafa (DD) to hold the Lunch Forum Series at Hana Lounge for business actors.

In its inaugural edition, the Lunch Forum Series discusses deeper financing of finance through a digital or fintech platform.

KEB Hana Bank Director, Bayu Wisnu Wardhana said the cooperation was initiated to raise the KEB Hana Bank flag and is a CSR activity of KEB Hana Bank throughout Indonesia.

"Hana Lounge is a form of our CSR, apart from one of our ways to attract customers by using non banking methods," said Bayu during the signing of the cooperation agreement at Hana Lounge Wisma Mulia Jakarta, Wednesday (7/2/2018).

Looking at fintech opportunities in the banking world of Indonesia, Bayu agreed on the statement that fintech is able to help the banking world in market penetration through smartphones.

"Using technology through smartphones, banks will be able to penetrate the market quickly. Compare that obtained by banking for 100 years and see what has been done smartphone in recent years, "said Bayu.

KEB Hana Bank itself has also adopted this digital system in customer service, such as submission of KTA or KPR online.

"At first KEB Hana Bank entered Indonesia, we only enter in the SNI and corporate markets. But in the last 3 years, we started to get into the consumer sector. It's a lot of customers. So the use of technology is very helpful in working on new markets. If you build a new branch, it will cost and much human resources. But if with technology, all can be overcome, "said Bayu.

Currently there are 61 branches of KEB Hana Bank that can serve customers throughout Indonesia and will open 5 new branches in Pontianak, Balikpapan, Surabaya and Malang.
