Ganjar Pranowo has already submitted a Letter of Leave for Campaign

INDUSTRY.co.id - Semarang - Candidate governor Ganjar Pranowo has submitted a letter of application for leave outside the state dependents to follow the 2018 Central Java Regional Head election to the Central Java Provincial KPU.

"According to the information from the secretariat, Mr. Ganjar has submitted the leave license to the Central Java KPU," said Chairman of Central Java KPU Joko Purnomo in Semarang, Monday (12/2/2018)

The Central Java Election campaign is scheduled to take place from 15 February to 23 June 2018, while voting on 27 June 2018.

Joko explained that pursuant to KPU Regulation No. 4 of 2017, the petition of defended leave shall be submitted to the provincial KPU no later than the first day of the campaign period and during the campaign period the defended shall not use state facilities.

State facilities that can not be used by the defended, among others, official cars of state officials, and other official transportation, including buildings, offices, official houses, government official houses, except in remote areas whose implementation should pay attention to the principle of justice.

Chairman of the Central Java Election Commission Division, Ikhwanudin added, especially for candidates of Central Java Governor Election who is a member of the legislature must complete the letter of submission as a legislator.

The two provincial election candidates with the status of legislator are Taj Yasin Maimoen who is registered as a member of Parliament of Central Java Province, and Vice Governor Candidate Ida Fauziyah as a member of DPR RI.

"The person concerned must submit a letter of resignation, receipt of the competent authority over the submission of the letter of resignation, and a declaration that his resignation is in process," he said.

The three letters, said Ikhwanudin, should be submitted to the Central Java Provincial KPU no later than five days after the establishment of the candidate pairs or the latest (Friday (16/2).

The 2018 regional election of 2018 will be officially followed by candidate governor Ganjar Pranowo-Taj Yasin Maimoen, carried by PDI Perjuangan, PPP, Nasdem Party, Democrat Party and Golkar Party, while Sudirman Said-Ida Fauziyah carried Gerindra Party, PAN, PKS and PKB . (Ant)
