INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Airlangga Hartarto received the visit of Managing Director of PT Bayer Indonesia, Angel Michael Evangelista at the Office of the Ministry of Industry, Jakarta (23/2/2018).
During the visit, Minister of Industry Airlangga was accompanied by Secretary General of Ministry of Industry Haris Munandar, and Director General of Chemical, Textile and Multifarious Industries (IKTA) Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono.
"During this visit, we discussed the progress of PT Bayer's investment in Indonesia," Airlangga said.
In addition, they also discussed related to the dual vocational education system that is being intensified by the Ministry of Industry.
Bayer is a global company engaged in Life Science related to health and agriculture. Bayer Indonesia has been manufacturing and marketing various pharmaceutical products for the agricultural industry.
The Ministry of Industry noted that the pharmaceutical industry contributed Rp54.4 trillion to the national GDP and absorbed more than 40,000 workers.
