Mining Sector Tap JCI to 6.420 in First Session of Trade

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) closed down 1.23% or 80 points to position 6.420 in the first trading session Wednesday (07/03/2018) compared to the previous day's trading closing position at 6,500.
In the first session of trading today, JCI moved in the range of 6,413-6,516. A total of 334 shares decreased in price, 62 stocks rose, 82 stagnant shares and 137 shares were not transacted at all.
Total transactions across the BEI market segment reached Rp3.93 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market worth Rp3.54 trillion, in Negotiated Market of Rp383.30 billion and in Cash Market worth Rp819.72 million.
Total trading volume was recorded at 73.25 million lots, resulting from 230,086 transactions. Meanwhile, foreign investors sold net share worth Rp287.87 billion with net sales volume of 1.93 million lots.
All indexes of BEI index weakened. Index of mining sector experienced the deepest decline, that is equal to 2,57% or 50,3 point to 1,903 position. Then followed by index of agriculture sector and index of miscellaneous industry sector which each shrank 2.43% and 2.26%.
LQ45 stocks that decline in price and become top losers are INDY whose price is reduced by 5.19% or Rp210 to Rp3,840 per unit, ADRO whose price is decreased by 5.15% or Rp120 to Rp2,210 per unit and WSKT is the price losing 4.56% or Rp130 to Rp2,720 per unit.
The LQ45 stocks that became the top gainers were SCMA whose price rose by 1.12% or Rp30 to Rp2,700 per unit, PWON whose price was raised 0.76% or Rp5 to Rp660 per unit and UNTR which price rose 0.07% or Rp25 to Rp36.100. (Abraham Sihombing)
