INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) opened at 6.448 in the first trading session on Friday (09/03/18), five points higher than the previous day's trading position at 6,443.

However, the JCI Composite Index at 9.35 JATS time was down 0.14% or 9 points to 6,434 positions. A total of 157 stocks rose in price, 117 stocks fell, 125 stagnant shares and 217 shares have not been transacted.

The decline in JCI appears to be due to the decline in various stock prices of various industry sectors. It can be seen from the index of miscellaneous industry sectors that experienced the deepest decline, which amounted to 0.58% or 7.67 points to 1.316 positions.

Total transaction value in various market segments of BEI reached Rp1, 53 trillion. It consists of transaction value in Negotiated Market amounting to Rp1.29 trillion and in Negotiated Market of Rp240.20 billion.

The total trading volume recorded as much as 22.68 million lots of shares, the result of 76,817 times the transaction. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp136 billion, but they still recorded net purchases of 8,763 lots of shares. (Abraham Sihombing)
