INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Airlangga Hartanto scheduled today, Friday (9/3/2018) will officially open the exhibition Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) 2018 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The exhibition will take place in four days, from 9 to 12 March 2018. It is the largest exhibition of B2B furniture and handicraft in Indonesia and the regional area of ​​cooperation between Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Association (HIMKI) with Dyandra Promosindo.

IFEX 2018 is a show for the artisans of the country and always awaited the implementation by the furniture and craft industry players, both from within and outside the country.

Just information, in the implementation of IFEX 2017 last year, the exhibition was visited by 11,225 buyers. The biggest buyers and visitors come from China, Australia, USA, India and Holland.

The total value of transactions at the exhibition site reached US $ 300 million, and the follow-up transaction reached US $ 700 million, bringing the total transactions overall to the target of US $ 1 billion.

In the implementation of IFEX 2018, the committee targets the number of buyers and visitors to increase to 12,500. As for the total target of on-the-spot transactions and follow-up transactions the same as last year's achievement of US $ 300 million and US $ 700 million.
