INDUSTRY.co.id - Bogor - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani revealed that until now there is no and there is no discussion about the President's salary increase.

"It does not exist, and has not been discussed," Mulyani said when answering media crew questions in a press conference at the Bogor presidential palace on Monday (12/3/2018).

Minister of Finance mentions what the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucracy of Bureaucracy is a hoax.

"It's a hoax, because it's a lot of social media to make information, make documents that are made similar to the government published, so we have no discussion about it, absolutely nothing," said Mulyani.

While related to civil servant salary (PNS), continued Mulyani, on the draft government regulations (RPP) 2018 and Revised State Budget (RAPBN) 2019 will be delivered the same as the government submitted to the House.

"In the financial note of a raise, the 13th and retired salary will be included by the President in a financial note in August," Mulyani said.

Previously circulated news that mentions the basic salary of the president is only about Rp30 million per month is currently considered very small and plans to be proposed increased to Rp553 million per month.

The simulation of changes in salary conditions for the president appears in the RPP on Salary and Civil Servant Allowances (PNS) in circulation recently.

In the RPP, in addition to the president, salary increases will also be felt by the vice president and other high officials of other countries.

Presidential salaries have jumped dramatically because of their calculation based on the index of 1: 12.698 between the lowest and lowest salary of civil servants.

The earnings index for the president is simulated to reach 96,000, so it will earn income Rp553, 4 million per month.

As for vice president (vice president) will receive income Rp368, 9 million per month from the previous base salary of Rp20 million. In the RPP, the calculation of the vice-salary is based on a 64,000 income index.

With the salary change, the monthly income of the president of the Republic of Indonesia will compete with leaders in other countries.

In the RPP also emerged new salary proposals for the Ministers, Attorney General, Commander of the TNI, Chief of Police, Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly, Chairman of the House, Chairman of the DPD, Chairman of KPK, Chairman of BPK, Chairman of the Supreme Court and Chief Justice. With an index calculation of 16,000, then their earnings amounted to Rp92.2 million per month.
