Mining Sector Jumps JCI to Position 6.376 at the End of First Session

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed at 6.376, down 0.57% or 37 points at the end of the first trading session Wednesday (14/03/2018) compared to the position at the end of trading the previous day at the level 6.412.
The decline of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at mid-day breaks was caused by the decline in prices of 205 shares, particularly those of the mining sector. In addition, there were 137 stocks that experienced price increases, 116 stagnant shares and 157 shares were not transacted.
The total transaction value in all BEI market segments reached Rp3.17 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market of Rp2.65 trillion, in Negotiated Market worth Rp526.61 billion and in Cash Market worth Rp20.86 million.
Meanwhile, total trading volume was recorded at 55.43 million lots, resulting from 208,776 times transactions. Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp304.81 billion with a net sales volume of 128,164 lots of shares.
All sector indices BEI weakened in the first session of trading today. Index of mining sector experienced the deepest decline, which amounted to 1.48% or 27.94 points to the position of 1.858. Then followed by index of agriculture sector and property sector index which each eroded 0,9% and 0,89%.
LQ45 stocks that decline in price and become top losers are LPPF whose price decreased 5.36% or Rp625 to Rp11,025 per unit, INDY which cost shrink 4.31% or Rp160 to Rp3.550 per unit and ADRO price eroded 2.76% or Rp60 to Rp2,110 per unit.
The LQ45 stocks that became the top gainers were HMSP whose price increased by 1.19% or Rp50 to Rp4,260 per unit, BJBR whose price increased by 0,92% or Rp20 to Rp2,200 per unit and TPIA whose price was lifted 0, 43% or Rp25 to Rp5,775 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
