Menteri ESDM Ignasius Jonan
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has cut its power generation capacity target in the 2018-2027 Power Supply Plan (RUPTL) to 56,024 megawatts (MW).
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan explained that RUPTL 2017-2026 is targeted to reach 77,873 MW by 2026. According to Jonan, the pruning is adjusted to the national electricity growth average.
"RUPTL 2018-2027 has been approved by the government, not much changed, so the average projection of national electricity demands growth of 6.86%, plus minus 7%," said Jonan in Jakarta, Tuesday (13/3/2018) night.
According to Jonan, this is also included from the village electricity needs program. "So for example there are 5 hamlets in one village, two hamlets have electricity, three none, then the government will make it through PLN to be all-electtered," he said.
Meanwhile, the total development plan of the plant, the majority of IPP is 56 GW. So from 2018-2027 already exceeds 35 GW for up to 2024 only.
Target energy mixes at the end of 2025, for coal about 54%. Meanwhile, for EBT as much as 23%. "Now about 12% more are already roads, gas is 22.2%, and fuel is 0.4%, the fuel is MFO, HSD, and the like," said Jonan.
Meanwhile, the total development plan for the new RUPTL transmission is along 63 855 kilometers of circuit. Total development plan of 151,424 MVA substations, distribution network 526,390 kilometers circuit.
"The change is 'no ga' existed, only we compile based on the projection that the COD of each of our power plants match the projected growth of electricity demand in every region of Indonesia," he explained.
