INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Lippo Group CEO James Riady has denied the status of the Meikarta project, which has been accused of not yet adjusting the spatial layout. According to him, the project is part of Lippo Cikarang project development which has been long enough.
"That's not true. Lippo Cikarang is already there 28 years, almost 5,000 hectares, "James told media crew recently.
As with the development of property projects in general, the Meikarta project will also be developed to four stages.
"What is clear is the stage that we are now doing, including the Orange County stage that has been topping off, that's by the rules. We just do not want to talk much in this case. So we continue to go according to plan, "James said.
Previously, the Director General of Land Procurement of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency (ATR / BPN) Arie Yuriwin was surprised at Lippo Group's move to conduct a massive promotion for the Meikarta project.
According to Arie, Lippo has not made any spatial adjustments to the project. Initially, Arie explained about the obligations of the Ministry of ATR / BPN regarding the implementation of national strategic projects (PSN). In Presidential Regulation No. 58 of 2017 on the Acceleration of PSN mentioned, that BPN can make land adjustment in the framework of infrastructure development.
One such adjustment is the work of the Jakarta-Bandung rapid train project. After that, Arie gave an example of Meikarta's problem. According to him, Lippo Group should apply to local governments to make spatial adjustments before offering products.
"Meikarta's spatial adjustment does not exist yet. So how he was foaming-selling so, we are still confused right, "said Arie
