INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Zulkifli Hasan stressed there is no movement to dissolve the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, including Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto did not want this country to disperse.
Zulkifli in a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday (27/3/2018) expressed his conviction there is no movement from a handful of people in Indonesia who want this country to disperse.
Zulkfli's affirmation was also delivered after attending the 40th anniversary of Lemhannas Alumni Association in Jakarta on Monday (26/3/2018) night.
Zulkifli conveyed his statement when asked for his response to the speech of Chairman Ikal Agum Gumelar overnight which mentions there are a small handful of people in Indonesia who want this country to disperse.
"I'm sure there is no movement to dissolve the country, including Prabowo," said Zulkifli who is also Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) as quoted by Antara.
Last week there was a polemic in connection with Prabowo's statement citing the book "Ghost Fleet A Novel of The Next World War" by PW Singer and August Cole (publisher Eamon Dolan Books, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, New York, USA, 2015) again in 2030.
The main issue of this nation, according to the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly, is the social gap due to the increasingly strong oligarchy.
That, he said, becomes a threat to this nation, not about who and what movements that threaten the integrity of this country.
