More 17 tons Banana Kepok Enter Jiran Country Market

INDUSTRY.co.id - Tanjung Balai Asahan - Banana kepok including banana group (plaintain) because of its high content of stone. "Today we check 17.4 tons of banana kepok which will be sent to Malaysia", said Azhar, Head of Quarantine of Tanjung Balai Asahan, Thursday (28/3/2018).

As is known, this type of banana is more delicious if processed into various ready-to-eat foods, such as fried bananas, banana chips and banana compote. In addition to containing various kinds of gizo substances such as fiber, potassium, vitamin C and B6, banana kepok plant can also grow throughout the year. Of course this is very profitable.

According to Azhar, quarantine in cooperation with the relevant agriculture service especially in the area of ​​Tanjung Balai Asahan will continue to encourage and accelerate the export of agricultural products.
