Social Minister Idrus Marham Helps Students Ask For Fake Feet

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Social Minister Idrus Marham ordered his staff to immediately assist an elementary school student in Luwu Utara District, South Sulawesi who requested the help of prosthetic limbs.

"Experts and officials from the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation I have ordered to fly to North Luwu to provide help of prosthetic limbs," Idrus said on the sidelines of PKH Orientation Supervisor Guidance in Jakarta on Monday (9/4/2018).

In addition to the help of prosthetic limbs as requested by elementary school students, Social Minister will also provide assistance Family Hope Program (PKH) to help the family's economy.

"Hopefully the help will make Amin more eager to go to school and pursue his goals," added Social Minister.

Video Amin, an elementary school student from North Luwu with duration of 00.59 seconds is uploaded by Instagram @bikinrame account. The video was also accompanied by photo uploads containing handwritten letters addressed to President Joko Widodo.

In the letter is written the name of the author namely Muhammad Amin Syam. He admitted to studying as an elementary school student MI Nurul Hikma and residing in Tolada Village, Malangke District, North Luwu.

"Appeal to the President's father to give me a prosthetic limb because my prosthetic limb is made of wood and I cannot use it because it is short," wrote Amin.

"Please sir I do not ask for a bike, I just ask for prosthetic limbs so I can continue my school and I can make my mother happy," he added.

Amin lives with his mother at your home. While the father left the family since Amin was a child because of embarrassment with Amin's condition.
