Minister of Social Affairs Visits NTB Earthquake Victims

INDUSTRY.co.id - Makassar - Social Minister Idrus Marham is scheduled to visit West Nusa Tenggara to review the quake-affected areas and provide assistance to the victims.
"Tomorrow morning I will go there, we will give aid to the heirs of the dead victims," said Idrus Marham after attending the 2018 Asian Games torch relay in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Sunday (29/7).
For the first phase, the government will provide assistance of Rp15 million to the heirs of the earthquake victims who died, Idrus said.
The government will also distribute aid such as tents and food to earthquake victims in NTB, Idrus said.
Meanwhile, the number of victims of the 6.4 magnitude earthquake in Lombok, NTB, Sunday morning, to 14 people died and 162 injured.
Head of Information and Public Relations Data Center of National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Sutopo Purwo Nugroho in his message in Jakarta on Sunday said the worst impact of the earthquake was in East Lombok regency.
Meanwhile, house damage reached more than 1,000 units of houses heavily damaged, moderately damaged and slightly damaged.
Until 14.00 WIB, BMKG recorded 124 times aftershocks with smaller strength and no tsunami potential.
Evacuation of climbers located on Mount Rinjani is still done by officers.
Based on data from the National Park Hall Mount Rinjani (BTNGR), the number of climbers to Mount Rinjani recorded 826 inhabitants, both foreign tourists and the archipelago.
Report from BTNGR Senaru Resort as many as 115 foreign tourist orag have come down in Senaru Regency of North Lombok.
The process of evacuation of climbers is still done by officers BTNGR, SAR Mataram Office, Brimob Polri NTB and volunteers.
