Composite Stock Price Index Down 2 Points in Trading Opening Session

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) opened at 6,244 in the first trading session Tuesday (10/04/2018), down 2 points compared to the previous day's trading closing position at 6,246.

At 09:35 JATS time, JCI was up 0.15% or 9 points to 6,255 positions. The increase was underpinned by an increase in the price of 178 shares. Meanwhile, 95 stocks fell in price, 119 shares stagnated and 229 shares had not been traded.

Total value of trading across all BEI market segments reached Rp1, 04 trillion. It consists of trading value in the Regular Market of Rp956.45 billion and in Negotiation Market worth Rp81.97 billion.

Total volume of transactions recorded as many as 15.55 million lots of shares, the result of 83,516 times the transaction. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp16.79 billion, but still recorded a net purchase volume of 52,128 lots of shares. (Abraham Sihombing)
