Officially Arrested KPK, PAN Fired Governor Jambi Zumi Zola

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - KPK finally arrested the Governor of Jambi Zumi Zola who had previously been assigned a suspect of corruption crime to receive gratification related to projects in PUPR Service of Jambi Province in 2014-2017.

Related to that, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan said that Zumi Zola has been fired from PAN. However, the dismissal was done long before Zumi Zola was held by KPK since Monday (9/4/2018)

"It's been a long time, it's been a long time," Zulkifli Hasan said at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (10/4/2018).

Zulkifli Hasan revealed that Zumi Zola was fired from PAN since the KPK was named as a suspect. Zulkifli claimed to have long asked his cadres to obey the law and stay away from corruption.

"I think this is an important lesson and not to happen again PAN cadres," he said.

In addition, PAN does not provide legal assistance to Zumi Zola because Zumi Zola has appointed a private lawyer. "Already have your own," said Chairman of this MPR.
