Half-Day Rest, Various Industrial Sectors Raises IHSG to Position 6.357

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) closed up 0.51% or 32 points to 6,357 position in the first session of trading Wednesday (11/04/2018) compared to the previous day's trading closing position at position 6.325.

The strengthening of JCI on this mid-day break as 200 stocks experienced price increases, especially stocks of miscellaneous industry sectors. In addition, there were 161 stocks down, 120 shares stagnant and 139 shares were not transacted at all.

Total trading value across all BEI segments in the first session of trading today reached Rp3.83 trillion. It consists of trading value in the Regular Market of Rp2.85 trillion and in Negotiated Market worth Rp975.91 billion.

The total volume of transactions was recorded at 52.47 million lots of shares, resulting from 239,755 transactions. Foreign investors recorded a net purchase of Rp95.58 billion with a net purchase volume of 164,619 lot shares.

Seven of the nine sector indices of BEI are green. The index of miscellaneous industry sector experienced the highest increase, which was 1.12% or 14.74 points to 1332 position. This was followed by financial sector index and industry sector index which rose 1.02% and 0.63% respectively.

LQ45 stocks that experienced price increases and became the top gainers were SCMA whose price increased by 5.34% or Rp140 to Rp2,760 per unit, AKRA whose price increased by 3.11% or Rp175 to Rp5,800 per unit and PTPP which was the price lifted 2.53% or Rp70 to Rp2.840 per unit.

The LQ45 stocks that topped the losers are the BMTR whose price is eroded by 3.20% or Rp20 to Rp605 per unit, UNTR whose price shrinks 1.96% or Rp700 to Rp34.950 and WSKT whose price decreased 1.57% or Rp40 to Rp2.500 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
