KPK Learn Pre-Trial's Decision Boediono

INDUSTRY.co.id - Makassar - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still studying the South Jakarta District Court's decision to ask the KPK to appoint new suspects in Century Bank corruption case including former Vice President Boediono.
Vice Chairman of KPK Laode Muhammad Syarif in Makassar on Monday (16/4/2018) said that although there is no decision of South Jakarta court, but if his side has sufficient two evidences then it will continue.
"We have examined Boediono several times, so it does not mean (examination) based on the decision (South Jakarta District Court)," he said after attending the Focus Group Discussion Pilgada Berintegritas event at the Faculty of Law of Hasanuddin University Makassar.
He explains, for the matter of prosecute someone (Boediono) it must suffice two evidences.
He on that occasion also straightens if there is no intention or anything from the KPK to procrastinate a person's legal process.
"But this is something new then the KPK will ask the KPK law firm and experts to see and address," he explained.
Problem of the possibility of a special investigation, he admitted would certainly see how the results or developments to the fore.
"We will see, it is a long case and if for example there are sufficient two evidences then the investigation is raised, and of course before that investigation is done first," he said.
Previously, South Jakarta District Court Judge decided to grant the pretrial application proposed by the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) related to Century case.
Single judge Effendi Mukhtar ordered the KPK to continue the investigation into the Century Bank scandal case.
In addition, the judge also asked the KPK to assign suspects to former vice-president Boediono, who was then governor of Bank Indonesia and Muliaman D Hadad, Raden Pardede and friends. (Ant)
