Not Moving to Another Heart, Gerindra Affirms to Bring Prabowo Subianto Presidential Candidate 2019

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - A member of the Board of Trustees of Gerindra Party, Fauka Noor Farid, stressed that his party only carries Prabowo Subianto as the presidential candidate in the 2019 election.

Fauka Noor Farid, in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/4/20180), Rakornas Gerindra Party which was held on April 11, 2018 and then in Hambalang, Bogor, decided to give mandate to Gerindra Party Chairman, Prabowo Subianto to advance in the 2019 presidential election.

"With this mandate, Prabowo is legitimately the only presidential candidate proposed by the Gerindra Party." There are no other candidates, both inside and outside the party," Fauka Noor Farid said.

He also assessed there are certain parties who deliberately continuously mengembuskan issue that Prabowo will not go forward as a presidential candidate and will only be a decider president or "king maker". The party has a particular purpose in this regard concerning the great political interests.

"The issue that Mr. Prabowo will be a 'king maker', both before and after the implementation of Rakornas, is the act of certain parties who are ambitious to step forward," said Fauka Noor.

He who also served as Waketum of the Supervisory Board and Party Discipline of the Gerindra Party added that the issue was deliberately exhaling to influence the parties that would carry Prabowo as a presidential candidate like PKS and PAN.

"This guy has already created an IT team with the task of raising issues that one of them Prabowo is better to be a 'king maker' and they are lobbying parties to split the party, so I think I should be more vigilant because this is just the ambition of the person and his supporters," he added.

According to him, Prabowo Subianto himself until now is still willing to carry out mandate that has been given by Gerindra Party, which is mandate to go forward as presidential candidate in 2019.

"I think he will account for the mandate to the cadres and his supporters and will not be given to others, because only Prabowo can still match Jokowi in the 2019 presidential election," he said.
