INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Jakarta International Jakarta Container (JICT) manajamen party urges and expects JICT workers to immediately work again and build JICT as a strategic national asset in the port sector.
"We urge employees who are still on strike to get back to work. The strike is not beneficial for anyone, preferably back to work, "said Vice President Director of PT JICT Riza Erivan, in a press conference, at Ambhara Hotel, Sunday (6/8/2017).
It urged the union to sit with management to discuss the solution according to the rules.
"Do not let this (strike) sacrifice the national interest, because we know, Tanjung Priok Port is the national economic gateway and one of the vital national objects that cannot be disturbed," said Riza.
He claims, the directors continue to open communication with the workers, especially unions. Communication is done with the mediation of North Jakarta Sub-Department of Manpower and Transmigration.
Finance Director of PT JICT Budi Cahyono said that the company has paid employees Rp 201 billion bonus in May 2017.
PT JICT together with Sudinakertrans, North Jakarta, are negotiating on the incentive demands beyond bonus by the workers.
