INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - In an effort to strengthen the mutual fund distribution channels and also reach a broader retail investor, PT Bahana TCW Investment Management ("Bahana TCW") as a subsidiary of PT. Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero) launched a digital platform called "BahanaLink" on April 30, 2018.

BahanaLink is an online mutual fund investment platform from Bahana TCW that allows investors to make investment plans, transact and monitor the performance of mutual fund products easily and can be done anywhere.

"Along with technological developments, we recognize the need to continue to update our services and facilities, and with BahanaLink we make it easy for investors to invest, without having to come face to face." A service that has not been provided by other investment management firms, "said Edward P Lubis, President Director of PT Bahana TCW Investment Management.

By using BahanaLink, investors can gain some advantages that other investment platforms do not encounter. One of them is that investors can open an account or register digitally, without needing a 'wet' signature, including verifying data through self-made photos with ID, OTP (One Time Password), and electronic registration facility (E-statement).

"We understand the needs of each investor differently, especially for those who have limited time, so, through the BahanaLink platform, we provide digital registration facility that will greatly facilitate the investors to keep investing without having to meet face to face or send the form physically," said Edward, Wednesday (2/5/2018).

In addition, BahanaLink also has an investment calculator facility. This will help the investors to plan their investment by adjusting the revenue and investment targets to be achieved.

To invest in mutual funds in BahanaLink is also affordable. Investors can start buying and selecting all types of mutual fund products, both money market funds, fixed income, and equity funds managed by Bahana TCW Investment Management, with investments ranging from Rp 100,000. With an increasingly affordable investment, Bahana TCW expects more and more retail investors to invest, especially the millennials.

With the presence of BahanaLink's new platform, investors will find it easier to obtain attractive investment products from Bahana TCW. So far, Bahana TCW has worked with banking and non banking agents such as financial technology (tekfin), namely T-Cash, Bareksa.com; and online mutual fund sellers (APERD) such as Star Mercato Capitale or Tanamduit.com.

Currently, we already have about 2,200 investors who have invested through the BahanaLink platform. By the end of the year, we are targeting as many as 2,000 new investors who invest in our new platform http://link.bahanatcw.com/.
