Collaboration Ensure Logistics Industry Becomes a Pillar of e-Commerce

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Express Delivery Service Company (Asperindo) M. Feriadi revealed the importance of collaboration among logistic service companies to improve services to the public.

Especially with the era of digital economy, according to the postal and logistics services will be the main pillar of e-commerce that can increase the contribution of the digital sector in the national economy.

"Now is not the era of competition, but the era of collaboration. I hope the company can collaborate with each other and can build good synergy with each other, "said Asperindo Chairman M. Feriadi in a National Seminar of Logistics Industry Contribution for Digital Economy at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta (14/5/2018).

"Growing export figures that are smaller than imports could cause other big countries to go in search of markets in Indonesia, we should collaborate together, because it's feared there are big countries that offer platforms and succeed," he added.

Moderated by Director of Post Directorate General of PPI Ikhsan Baidirus, the seminar became an exchange of ideas between regulators and business people. The three pillars of e-commerce are marketplace, post and logistics until the payment system is deeply depicted through represented materials such as Deputy Banking Supervisory Commission l, Financial Services Authority Budi Armanto, Senior Business Development Logistic Tokopedia Stephanie Octavia, Chairman of Asperindo M.
