Gresik Factory, Cement Indonesia Provides Loyalty Award to 348 Employees

INDUSTRY.co.id - Gresik-PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk awarded employee loyalty to 348 employees who have served during certain working periods of 20, 25, 30, 35 years. The award was given by the President Director of Cement Indonesia Darmawan Junaidi at Wisma A.Yani.

Darmawan Junaidi said that the position of Cement Indonesia as the market leader of the cement industry proves that the company is managed by competent human resources. Compactness and teamwork in the company goes well and employee loyalty to the company is very strong.

"The company gives an appreciation to employees in the form of rewards of work loyalty for the devotion that has been raising the company. Employee loyalty to this company becomes a valuable capital in the midst of a very tight cement industry competition, "said Darmawan Junaidi in Gresik, Tuesday (8/8/2017).

In addition, the management of Cement Indonesia inaugurated a new building for the UISI campus. The new building was built at the site of a former factory in Gresik, East Java. Building with the concept of smart campus stands on an area of 1500 m2 consists of 3 floors equipped with various facilities such as library, Audiotorium Theater, as well as modern classrooms.

Darmawan Junaidi said the new building of Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia is dedicated to facing global competition. "The existence of this UISI to support the program center of the Champs company where later through the university is able to deliver qualified graduates", he concluded.

As a commitment to educate the nation's children through education, in addition to the inauguration of UISI Campus Building, on the anniversary of the 60th anniversary of Gresik factory yesterday also held the first stone laying renovation of Alqur'an Reading Garden (TPQ) Mujahadah in the housing estate employee Segunting. The renovation is done by building 10 new classrooms with a fund of 1.9 billion. Santri TPQ Mujahadah is the sons and daughters of employees and local people.

Director of Human Resources and Law Agung Yunanto, said, "With the availability of adequate classrooms, it is expected that the learning process can run well so as to produce quality generation".
