Densus 88 Catch Unexpected Terrorists in Rokan Hilir Riau

INDUSTRY.co.id - Pekanbaru- 88 Special Detachment Anti-Terror arrests an alleged terrorist with initials HS aka Abu Yusuf in Pujud, Rokan Hilir District, Riau Province.

Rokan Hilir Police Chief AKBP Sigit Adiwuryanto told media crews in Pekanbaru, Saturday (5/19/2018) said the arrest was conducted at the suspected terrorist house in Dusun V Bangun Jaya, Kepenghuluan Sungai Tapah, Pujud District.

"Yeah right, one suspected terrorist initials HS is secured Densus 88," he said.

He explained that the search and capture operation was conducted by Densus 88 Anti Teror in coordination with the Rokan Hilir Police. Until now, the process of investigation is still done by Densus 88 Anti-Terror.

"We only assist the process of arrest, the investigation conducted Densus 88. The team is still in the field and do the development," said Sigit.

Densus 88 Anti-Terror previously arrested several suspected terrorists in several places in Riau Province after the attempted terrorist attack on Riau Police Headquarters this midweek.

Previously, as many as eight suspected terrorists were secured at some point in Dumai City.

A total of eight suspected terrorists who are still undergoing inspections at Mapolres Dumai, each initials HAR, NI, US, SW, HD, YEP, DS, and SY aka IJ.

Most of the allegedly secured terrorists still have blood ties with four suspected terrorists killed during the attack on Riau Police Headquarters.

They are Mursalim aka Pak Ngah (48), Adi Sufiyan (23), Suwardi (28), and Pogang (24).

A day later, another suspected terrorist was also secured in Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency.
