INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Vice Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Hidayat Nur Wahid wants the counter-terrorism in the country not to overlap, causing ineffectiveness in the field by creating a completely new body.
"Do not be all discourse or show the new bands that overlap with other bodies and in the field does not even occur effectiveness and coordination," said Hidayat Nur Wahid in the release, Saturday (19/05/2018).
According to Hidayat, the government should be able to solve all the problems concerning the formation of the Joint Special Operations Command (Koopsusgab) as related to command, performance and coordination with Kemenkopolhukam.
The PKS politician reminded that the involvement of the army and the counter-terrorism team had been done long ago, because indeed the regulation allowed for that, as in the case of Poso, where the army was already involved in helping to combat terrorists.
