INDUSTRY.co.id - Karawang - Incessant infrastructure development proclaimed by the government in West Java area will provide various ease of transportation access. Similarly, Karawang which is a business area and industry also benefited from the project.
The existence of such infrastructure projects make some areas tedalam in Karawang next few years is expected to become the main business and industrial city in Indonesia. Anticipating this, PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk through Taruma City began introducing a new business center in the heart of Karawang City by launching superblocks in the city.
"This year we launched a superblock in the city center. The location is very, very strategic and is the last piece. This project is the central business district of Karawang, "Taruma City General Manager Marketing Manager Ie Rina Irawan said at the joint opening ceremony in Karawang on Friday (18/05/2018).
Rina explained, Taruma City developed on an area of 5.6 hectares. This complete integrated area consists of business park, shop house, Taruma Park, F & B, area, apartments and private residential. In the early stages, APL will market its Taruma Shopping Arcade shop totaling 243 units with starting price of Rp1.8 billion.
This shop house has two facades. One overlooks the Taruma Negara highway, one face facing the thematic park, Taruma Park. While luxury occupancy to be built within the area as many as 49 units and one apartment tower with 700 units of occupancy included in the development plan.
In addition to location factors, according to Ie Rina, one of the reasons for investment in Karawang is the opening of business opportunities in the city.
"The business opportunity in Karawang city is still very wide open. Moreover, supported by economic growth and high household consumption, making this city more attractive for investment, "said Rina.
In addition, various infrastructure projects under construction, both by the central government and local governments, will accelerate the region.
The government plans to build Soekarno Hatta Airport II in Karawang. The plan has been included in the National Spatial Plan (RTRW). The government also plans to make this airport as a supporting infrastructure for the National Center of Activities (PKN) service that serves passengers up to five million a year.
With the plan, West Java will be parallel to a number of provinces in Indonesia which have more than two airports. This area is parallel to the other four provinces, namely East Java (5 airports), North Kalimantan and Central Java (4 airports), and West Papua (3 airports).
